Role Title: Grant Manager
Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and creative Grant Manager to join our team. The Grant Manager will play a crucial role in securing funding for our programs by researching, writing, and submitting compelling grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both non-profit grant writing as well as end-to-end management of the grant process from prospecting to final reporting.
This is a remote work position.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with the mission, goals, and programs of Gamers Outreach Foundation.
Write and submit well-crafted, compelling, and tailored grant proposals that effectively convey the organization's impact and funding needs.
Keep a current calendar to track proposal deadlines, submission requirements, and reporting schedules.
Collaborate with program and finance teams to gather necessary information and ensure accurate budget and project details are included in proposals and subsequent reporting.
Monitor and evaluate grant-funded projects, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to funders and GO Management.
Maintain up-to-date records of grant applications, correspondence, and reporting in the organization's database.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential funders and foundations to enhance future funding opportunities.
Must Haves:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in both grant writing, and grant management preferably within the non-profit sector.
Demonstrated success in securing grant funding from a variety of sources.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Proficiency in the Google Suite of products.
Nice to Haves:
Familiarity with tools like Instrumentl and GrantStation.
Experience with Airtable for data management and building dashboards for project tracking and reporting.
Strong understanding of the video gaming industry and its potential to positively impact patients and families.
Ability to travel periodically for various events and functions.
